I finally got my Mosin Nagant 91/30 transferred from a shop in Nebraska. The price was a little bit more than the average Mosin, but I it came with the black matt polymer stock I wanted with it. Well worth the extra cash. The polymer stock is suppose to significantly cut back on the recoil of the 7.62 x 51 round coming out of the barrel. I shot one of these rifles that a fraternity brother owned about a year ago and it a decent kick. I am very pleased with the price of the surplus Russian ammo for the gun, never bought so much bulk ammo at such a low price.
This gun should be a blast to shoot and I won’t feel guilty about replacing the rounds.
